Cartel is a pop/punk rock band who has put out 2 albums. Their latest self-titled album has some pretty good songs. The first single is Lose It. and its not bad, but the song that really caught me is called Wasted.The song has this marching band beat and lyrically tells stories about tragedy and missed opportunities. While the lyrics kind of depress you, at the same time, you want to relate to what the guy is singing about.
There is also a remix featuring Wyclef Jean. He adds some rapping about 9/11, war, and poverty. Go fig, but it has a different beat to it.
Both versions are really good.
